Emma Thompson looks after the young stars of Brideshead Revisited at the UK Premiere

The new Brideshead Revisited movie adaptation may have the critics a little, um, underwhelmed (if you've seen the trailer you'll know the lavish period piece is being inexplicably promoted like a dark thriller) but that didn't stop the stars from stepping out last night for a glam premiere. Emma Thompson wore a Donna Karan silk coat with PVC boots from Chanel, while Hayley Atwell plumped for a teal satin halternecked gown. Felicity Jones (who I adored in Northanger Abbey) plumped for a subdued LBD with a cropped fringe that I sincerely hope is for a film role, because it does nothing for her elfin features.

As for Matthew Goode and Ben Whishaw...well, just enjoy a spot of ogling!
