When Diesel held a party during London Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of the book '100 New Fashion Designers', rumour has it certain fashionistas were found snooping around the out-of-bounds areas of the showroom in search of the highly coveted new 'Dirty Thirty' jeans. Sadly for them, I have it on good authority that they were looking in the wrong place for the must-have denims...

When they go on sale, the two styles (one men's and one women's) will only be available for one day, as an exclusive thank you to die-hard Diesel fans. People are expected to queue round the block, Kate for Topshop style, in order to get the super limited edition jeans in their size. Only 30,000 pairs have been made, and they'll be shared between 160 stores worldwide.

The limited edition jeans come in two of Diesel's most iconic styles, Matic for girls and Heeven for guys.

According to Diesel, the jeans will have "a one off 'dirty wash' treatment with side abrasion and hand-made repair patch; the back patch will celebrate Diesel's 30 years of love and fun with the words 'Dirty Thirty' and 'xXx'; side embroidery will state the dates 1978-2008; buttons will be customised with 'Diesel 1978' date of birth."

There are also xXx parties taking place in various locations across the globe the following day. The first ten customers at each shop will not only get their jeans, but also the chance to attend one of the bashes and see the likes of Mark Ronson performing. Nice.

If you fancy some exclusive denims, mark 10th October in your diary and get down to one of the participating Diesel stores where the jeans will go on sale at 10am.
