We first told you about Patricia Field designing a capsule collection for Marks & Spencer, waaay back in May at the height of SATC movie buzz. Now we can show you a preview of that range, thanks to Elle. The famed stylist has added a dash of New York style into wearable pieces that even the most daring M&S customer might give a go.

The collection includes a shiny bronze shift dress, black fitted halter-neck frock and a bright blue mini dress featuring long floaty sleeves - something that say, Samantha Jones might have even worn.

Field is the first guest designer that the British retailer has worked with, and while I can see at least one of the three dresses above appealing to most, I'm not sure I'll be lining up come October when the range hits stores.

What about you? Do any of these pieces interest you? Tell us below.

P.S. For Pat Field fans: she will also present a one-off collection at New York Fashion Week this Saturday - so keep your eyes peeled for that one!
