The British Fashion Council has awarded its MA scholarship scheme to Nabil El-Nayal.
El-Nayal, a Manchester Metropolitan University graduate, will receive funding for a Masters course in fashion design at the Royal College of Art to study an MA in Fashion Womenswear.
Panel member, Christopher Bailey, said of the youngster's work: "There was a beautiful sense of lightness in Nabil's work that came through his portfolio."
Nabil's catwalk presentation at Graduate Fashion Week earned him the Best Womenswear award, thanks to his high-drama collection, featuring black and white Victorian pieces isuch as high-necked ruffled blouses.
