Kate Moss dropped from best-dressed list; cops another dressing down from Roberto Cavalli
No longer does it seem that Kate Moss holds the monopoly over our best-dressed lists, after being dropped from Grazia's list of the Top 10 Summer's Best Dressed Stars of 2008.
Instead, her so-called rival, Agyness Deyn has scooped the top spot, followed by Gwyneth Paltrow, who wowed on the red carpet circuit this summer in her winning formula of short hems and skyscraper heels. Other celebs to make the cut include, Sarah Jessica Parker, who came in at third, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Daisy Lowe, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
And the knocks just keep on coming for the supermodel, with a few choice words from Roberto Cavalli. Find out what he said after the jump...
Never one to shy away from speaking his mind, Cavalli took yet another swipe at Moss, referring to her as "not having what it takes to be a true star".
This isn't the first time that he has openly criticised the Croydon-born supermodel, whose Topshop collections he called "badly made, stupid and bland" in the Telegraph.
In a recent interview with Observer Food Monthly, the designer says he prefer to work with "artists" like P. Diddy instead of models who he calls "pieces of wood that I carve to make clothes look beautiful".
Ah... Cavalli, how eloquently you do phrase things.
