Issa Kate Middleton an unofficial fashion muse?
You don't need to be Einstein to work out that being famous (and a potential future Queen) might equal access to free designer clothing. That is why it probably comes as little surprise that the reason why Kate Middleton is being admired for her style, is largely in thanks to the generous folks at Issa.
According to the Daily Mail, the girlfriend of Prince William is being treated as an unofficial ambassador for the label, scoring a swag of free designer frocks to wear to her many high-profile events.
"Kate must have thousands of pounds worth of gifted dresses," a source told the paper. "Issa is incredibly generous with her."
"She is always at [Issa's] offices choosing dresses. They also courier bag-loads of frocks to her house for her to try on in her own time. There is no limit on what she is allowed to take."
Kate's fondness for Issa has seen its 'Lucky' dress (which she wore to Wimbledon) become the It-dress of the season. Likewise her outfit for Peter Phillips' recent wedding, and that £1,000 plunging pink gown which she wore to the Boodles charity ball in June (pictured), has certainly shone a spotlight shine on the Brazilian-born brand.
However, despite claims to the contrary, according to the label's designer, Daniella Issa Helayel, Kate remains just another customer.
"Kate is not an ambassador for Issa. We love it and are very flattered that Kate wears Issa, " she said. "We do have some friends in common, but that's as far as it goes at the moment. She's a private client and we never make any comment on our private clients."
Issa lucky for some I'd say.
