Left and right side of wardrobe
Welcome to my attempt at wardrobe organisation. I recently moved to a new apartment and I'm trying to create some systems. My "system" at my old apartment was not very sophisticated; it mainly involved me dropping items of clothes indiscriminately on the floor when I was done with them and then skipping away merrily while whistling a jaunty tune. On the left, we start with dresses (from longer to shorter) and then move into the Land of Tank Tops That Wrinkle Really Easily. Once we hit the righthand side we transition into t-shirts (first long-sleeved, followed by short-sleeved and no those are NOT three acid-washed deep vs from American Apparel. Okay, MAYBE they are.) followed by a few button-downs and a couple Mary Kate Olsen circa 2005 style shawls. Bag lady chic! Next are my cardigans, and behind them (out of view) are more sweaters and fall/winter coats and jackets. On the floor of the righthand side are two storage units. I really don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for cheap organizers like these. My inner interior designer is cringing over the fact that they're mismatched and kind of ugly, but my outer broke college student is like "shut up, you." The three shelf unit holds my current denim rotation, and underwear & hosiery are stored in the plastic 3-drawer cart.
