CQ Preview: Comme des Garçons for H&M
The first pictures of the highly-anticipated Comme des Garçons for H&M diffusion collection are slowly leaking onto the web. Our mates at Fashionista got the low-down from an advance copy of September's W magazine, which reveals tidbits about Rei Kawakubo's forthcoming line such as its mostly black, with no kids collection officially planned.
Furthermore the range will feature "Japanese tomboy airs," and "a range of tailored jackets, many deconstructed, along with cropped pants, baggy shorts and a variety of skirts in stretch wool". Other highlights are polka dot knits in jersey and merino wool, colourful shirts and a "showpiece" coat-dress featuring Victorian ruffles. Can't wait!
