I've been here before so no introductions needed - well I should hope not anyway - but it's always and pleasure to come in to see the Shiny faces at Shiny Towers.
Another week draws to a close and all in all it's been a mix of quiet panic about the upcoming photo shoot for Catwalk Queen and quiet blogging due to a pre-London Fashion Week lull.
Jump through to see what has been going on!
Monday was a bank holiday and I wasn't here and neither was anyone else so what we did is none of your business (I spent the day lying on the couch).
Tuesday everyone (including me) was back in work and my day began as I got to organising all the information for the samples we have called in for the photo shoot that is taking place this weekend. The rest of the day was spent chasing up loose ends via email for the photo shoot (most of which went ignored- see below) and requests for photos of the high street stores Autumn/Winter ranges.
Wednesday, after getting a whopping one response from my emails regarding the sample call in, I turned to the phone. This meant calling round all the PR companies and getting assurances that if they were going to send any samples at all they would all be here by the end of the day (they weren't). This didn't take too long so I noted what was coming in and what wasn't, and then spent the rest of the morning blogging for Brandish. As the morning rolled into afternoon a few of the samples we requested began coming in -squeals of excitement all round- and I lazily logged in what we had got.
Thursday and I am writing this, it has all of a sudden got really hot in here and I'm beginning to think that wearing a wool shirt wasn't the slickest of moves! Still, I shall persevere (and perspire no doubt). Today the last of the samples have arrived and we look to be set for the shoot. Final arrangements are being made and things seem to be coming together fairly well, though only time, and you the viewing public, will tell. When I finish writing this I believe I will be compiling a street style gallery and possibly writing about the highs and lows of organising a photo shoot, though the clock is ticking away so these may have to wait till tomorrow.
Friday is another day, and I'm expecting it to be a little more manic as it is the last working day before the catwalkqueen.tv shoot, and even though everything appears to be organised, it never really is.
