One of this year's most anticipated weddings took place over the weekend, with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi tying the knot at an intimate ceremony in L.A.

Both ladies looked a treat in Zac Posen, with Ellen dressed head-to-toe in a loose-fitting white suit and waistcoat. While Portia chose a stunning blush pink halterneck gown, featuring plunging neckline and full tulle skirt.

Just 20 people attended the service at the couple's US$33 million Beverly Hills home, where they were followed by a TV crew from DeGeneres's talk show.

I love Portia's wedding gown! It's a different take on Marilyn Monroe's famous white haltertop! Tres Chic! I would definitely consider this style when I tie the knot :)
