From Shiny Style: Karl Lagerfeld left off the stunt stage design this season. A relatively austere backdrop of large silver columns set the scene for the models, sporting Wintour-esque bobs, to march around. All the more attention for the clothes, which were beautiful. Less adventurous than some past Chanel shows, at first the designs were simple, delightful Chanel workhorse suits and jackets. But then came the fabulous details like feathers, beads, metallics and architectural shapes.

Our only criticisms? The weird headgear and silhouettes with bulging hips. Even models probably don't like their hips exaggerated. And the mummer-esque wedding dress. If you've ever seen the New Year's Mummer's parade you'll know what I mean.
