Laura Ashley bring Land Girls to the noughties with their Wartime Memories collection

Laura Ashley's 'Wartime Memories' collection is absolute perfection for 40s vintage lovers like me. Giving the 'Land Girl' look a modern makeover, it's rural glamour at its best. As always with the label, the best pieces are delicate floral dresses and perfect knitwear, which may not appeal to the edgy among us, but definitely satisfy old souls like me. Just add a victory roll hairdo and some brogues (or wellies) to complete the look. Man in uniform optional!

I love that film,' the edge of love' purely because of the land girl fashion, can't wait to see this range from laura ashley (didn't think i'd ever be saying that) I got some amazing (and more suitable) alternatives to wellys to fit in with that vintage look at laurajlondon.com, some of the shoees are so 40's
