Halston will go ahead at Harrods, with or without Marco Zanini

halston_harrodsshopinashop.jpgDespite the early exit of its designer, Marco Zanini, and disruptions within its creative board, namely that of Rachel Zoe, it appears to be all-systems go at Halston.

The revived label is still planning to hit the floor at Harrods this Friday, with a 300-square-foot accessories shop-in-a-shop slated for the Luxury Room department of Harrods.

A ready-to-wear shop is also in the works once its deal with Selfridges is completed. Incidentally, its stint at Selfridges reported a successful turnover last autumn, selling like hot cakes.

Two more in-store boutiques are also planned for Russia and Dubai. If we take all of these factors into account, then it seems things aren't all doom and gloom. Only time will tell...
