Giles does it again for New Look - check out his fifth 'Gold' collection!

For the CQ staffers, Giles for New Look's 'Gold' label has been a bit hit-or-miss. There have been some wonderful buys on offer, and there have been some... well, not-so wonderful items. But for his latest collection (the fifth one so far) it appears as though the designer has taken a step back from his usual satiny blouses, and printed shift dresses, and added a touch of space-age sparkle to his designs.

His new collection features futuristic pieces in sequinned dresses, and cowboy boots (yee-haw!) Also worth noting is this gorgeous red prom dress (above, left), £55, and this fitted mac (above, right) £50, which is so versatile for our unpredictable weather. Make sure to pencil the 28th August into your diary when the range hits stores.

this collection disappoints me every season so much! i will there to be some great stuff but i dont know, it all seems kind of strange looking? like they take a base like that prom dress but use a weird fabric and add some crazy details and colours... looks like another collection set for the sale racks?
