Calvin Klein's new leading lady, Eva Mendes, has sat for a second round of ad images this time for Calvin Klein Underwear. The actress also fronts the brand's new scent, Secret Obsession, of which the TV commercial was recently banned in the U.S. for being too risqué. Hmm... I wonder what folks will think about her latest stint then.
According to CK Inc. president, Tom Murry, Mendes' involvement with CK Underwear is a 'departure from more slender body types that have typically been used,' but, he stresses, 'this is not so much about a trend of being more curvaceous. This [bra] product is made for a curvaceous woman.'
Erm... I'm not sure that I'd refer to being curvaceous as a trend. But nevertheless, what are your thoughts on Eva's ads?
