CQ Gallery: Mad Men - the ultimate 60s fashion indulgence

Forget sitting through 'Pushing Daisies' for a bit of retro fashion. AMC's 'Mad Men' is a much better option. Not only is it actually good, it has costumes to die for. Straddling two eras in fashion that I particularly adore, the 1960-set drama is vintage fashion heaven. Costume designer Janie Bryant must have had a field day. While January Jones does full-on timeless glamour, Elisabeth Moss has a more old-fashioned, fifties look and Christina Hendricks has an absolutely amazing wardrobe of cinch-waist dresses that enhance her curves. I'm teasing my hair into a beehive as we speak! CLICK THE IMAGE TO START THE 'MAD MEN' FASHION GALLERY

As much as I hate to admit it, I remember this era. I would have been Sally's (January's daughter) age. My parents were so glamourous! I remember a cocktail party they threw. They listend to Jazz and allowed me a sip of a grasshopper. My favorite childhood memory!

  • Gemma I'm shocked! I love pushing daisies!

But I agree that the fashion on Mad Men is fabulous. :)
