And they say that black models don't sell... Condé Nast reprints Italian Vogue July '08 issue

allblack_vogueitalianreprint.jpgItalian Vogue's all-black July '08 issue is proving so popular that publishers, Condé Nast, have been forced to order a reprint of 10,000 copies.

Covers are now being tagged with 'Most Wanted Issue Ever' and 'First Reprint', to keep up with the growing demand. The reprint has also attracted an increase of 30 per cent in advertising for the issue, although ironically those ads feature an obvious lack of black models, according to photographer Steven Meisel.

He added: "advertisers say black models don't sell."

Erm... right-oh!
