Woman claims thongs a hazard... so sues Victoria's Secret
Just when you thought it was safe to put on your underwear in the morning...
A Los Angeles woman is suing undergarment giant Victoria's Secret after she claimed she was injured by a "defective" thong.
Macrida Patterson told the Today show she suffered "excruciating pain" after a small bit of metal, which attached a rhinestone heart onto her low-rise 'v-string', struck her in the cornea as she was attempting to get dressed.
Patterson filed a lawsuit (which you can see here) on June 9, seeking unspecified damages.
Moral of the story: keep your eyes closed as you pull on those unruly v-strings! (Or... people will just about sue for anything these days, won't they?)
