Flashback: Eva Herzigova and Brad Kroenig in Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 1996 campaign

While not as old as some of the other video flashbacks we share with you, this clip from 2006 is still worth revisiting. Room Service was an idea conceived by Karl Lagerfeld for the Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 1996 campaign. Karl shot the still ad campaign featuring models Eva Herzigova and Brad Kroenig as strangers who meet in a posh Paris hotel, and brought in music vid director Johan Renck to make the accompanying short film. Listen out for Devendra Banhart's version of Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend (yes, he's the one currently stepping out with Natalie Portman).

  • No wonder you got no replies to your call! No one knows this!! He was actually taking a stroll incognito when Eva was crowded to death on the beach at that photo session. Amateur photographers popped up out of nothing, and it was barely possible to escape... just when we thought about asking for police assistance, Francis (the then president of the jury) appeared as by magic, took Eva's SM whip, and gave six of the best to the nearest bully. That effectively did the trick and they let us pass without further hassle.

    Hope this helps. Your friend,

Yvonne (former private assistant to Eva)
