Star style: Kate Middleton turns heads at Order of the Garter service

Could Kate Middleton be one step closer to becoming royalty?

That is the buzz around town right now, after she stood proudly to watch her boyfriend Prince William as he was invested in the Order of the Garter, the world's oldest surviving chivalry, at Windsor Castle on Sunday.

Elegantly dressed in a black and white polka dot tailored suit, and black pointy heels, the 26-year-old finished off her look with a disc-shaped feathered hat.

Style-wise, Kate has been right on form lately, selecting an Issa dress to wear to a recent boxing match with Prince Harry's girl Chelsy Davy. Overall, it was another sophisticated choice for Kate, but perhaps the wrong colour for the current season.

i personally agree with varya. kate does nothing but to keep herself look good ALL THE TIME. QE II's already getting into her nerves. i think and observed that kate middleton is HARDHEADED!!!! what would she contribute to the monarchy??? i hope QE II would do something about this...

I think she wore what she new would get her noticed, AGAIN (think Sandhurst parade).

Everyone else was in pastel spring/summer colors, and she was in all black.

Kate is a disgrace and she will bring the downfall of the monarchy with her media-whoreish and manipulative ways.
