News on the grapevine is that a new womenswear collection from the fashion house could soon be returning to Paris Couture Week.

According to WWD, creative director Rosemary Rodriguez, is planning 21 ready-to-wear versions on some of Thierry Mugler's most well-known pieces, which included exaggerated shoulders, and wasp-like waists.

More recently, Mugler has helped influence collections from Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. Now seems like the ideal time for the house to revive its couture collections.

Couture week begins on the 30th June (can it really be so soon?!) with shows from Chanel, Armani Prive, Christian Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent which, after recent events, will undoubtedly be a moving experience for many.
