albert+agy_newyork.jpgShe isn't even in London right now, and yet the Agyness Deyn news still ripples in like waves. The recently single model set tongues wagging over the weekend when she fronted up to the Songwriters Hall of Fame awards last Thursday with Albert Hammond of The Strokes (pictured right).

Okay, she just rocked up to the event with him... so what? I hear you say. We agree. Only earlier last week, her fellow band mates from Five O'Clock Heroes quizzed her about an 'Albert' live on air while appearing on the Channel 4 show, The Nokia Green Room - click here to watch.

More goss on Agy's rumoured new role on Doctor Who and those pesky Burberry rumours after the jump...

Meanwhile, in other exciting Agy news, she is rumoured to be starring in a Doctor Who Christmas special.

According to the Sunday Mirror, the show's TV execs are currently considering several character options for the 25-year-old. If true, this would be the latest acting gig for Deyn, who recently starred in a short film created by her pal Alanna Masterson.

"Doctor Who remains the Beeb's jewel in the crown and bosses love pulling out the stops to land a bigname star to add a bit of extra showbiz sparkle to the Christmas special, " a BBC source revealed. "Agyness is the perfect choice. She's talented and fast becoming a household name."

Furthermore, Agy has recently denied whispers that she is soon to be replaced by model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at Burberry.

"I'm staying put and indeed I'm about to do a shoot for Burberry with their new perfume," she told the Telegraph. "I'm very much part of the Burberry family."

Glad to hear it!
