Love it or hate it: Marc by Marc Jacobs fall/winter 2008-9 ad campaign

It seems like Marc Jacobs is aiming to shock or awe with his fall/winter 2008-9 advertising campaign staring male model, Cole Mohr. Photographed by usual MJ photographer, Juergen Teller, it features Mohr wearing nothing but a (women's?) blue and black check pea coat, black shoes and clutching a purple bag.

I'm not shocked or awed. What with the new emo, new goth and new punks. Lets not forget David Bowie. I think its sorta sweet. Hell, his legs are way nicer than mine.

I am gay and I want to puke too. But, I believe this ad is for a women's line. Hey ladies, does this ad make you want to buy this coat? I didn't think so, yuck.

Unless the idea of a completely effeminate naked man rubbing his genitals and arm pitts all over your clothing is a turn on.
