Karl Lagerfeld's road safety message: "It's yellow, it's ugly, but it could save your life"

Does this picture of (Count) Karl Lagerfeld all trussed up in a fluorescent yellow vest entice you to think road safety?

The folks in France seem to think so after they nabbed the designer for their latest road awareness campaign. I feel a new trend coming on...

Between performing voice-over spots for Grand Theft Auto and now this, I am scared to think of what else the Count has up his sleeve.

Lagerfeld took part in the campaign which aims to encourage drivers to equip themselves with security vests. The advert depicts the designer stood by a highway a night, whilst wearing a reflective vest, his trademark dark suit, sunglasses and gloves.

The full tag line reads: "It's yellow, it's ugly, it doesn't go with anything, but it could save your life."

I say give him the man another speaking part, or better yet a TV ad role!
