A selection of clothing from Jerry Hall's wardrobe will go under the hammer today, all in the name of charity. The Texan model is even auctioning off the wedding dress that she once wore when she married Mick Jagger in 1990 (pictured above).

The white, off-the-shoulder, lace number designed by Antony Price will be auctioned off at Sotheby's in west London to aid Emmaus, a homeless charity. Other pieces up for sale in the 'Fashion for Passion and Fine Textiles' auction include Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood.

"For me, this is a time of letting go, simplifying and getting my priorities right. I love it that my dresses can have a new lease of life in someone else's wardrobe," she said. "It's really odd to think that some other woman might wear it at her wedding. I just hope whoever she is has more luck than I did."

Jerry's lot is expected to fetch up to £25,000 with a price guide on her old wedding dress set at £300 - £500 alone.
