Graduate Fashion Week: Gemma's front row diary

It's always the way with Graduate Fashion Week. The shows you miss are the ones that you adore. Take today, for instance. I didn't get down here until 3pm (hopefully very soon you will find out why) and when I did, I took a sneaky peek at Isabelle's photos from previous shows. On discovering this amazing snap, I was very sad at having missed the earlier shows. You know me and my retro dresses!
The UK is so full of amazing fashion talent that there's a designer to appeal to everyone at GFW. From the sporty to the sexy, the chic to the cult, everything is represented. This is why I love attending the shows so much. It may not have the glam celeb factor of London Fashion Week (at least not until the Gala Show) but with each catwalk show bringing us the collections of ten to twenty designers, we see more talent in a few days here than we do for a whole season at the 'regular' shows.
Add to that, of course, the fact we get guaranteed front row seats, amazing catering and the use of a press room that's bigger than Shiny Towers (and has wine), and you can see why I'm typing this from Earl's Court 2 to the sounds of the Nottingham Trent show, and not from the office, where we've finally run out of Kinder Buenos.
Tomorrow is the last official day of Graduate Fashion Week proper, with the brand new Education Day on Thursday (congrats to those who won tickets - they should be with you tomorrow morning if you don't have them already). Our full Graduate Fashion Week coverage will be coming to you in the next few days, and this year we've gone all out to make sure you get exclusives. From our own 'editor's eye view' pics to the best street style snaps we've ever taken this is going to be B.I.G.
Stay tuned and stay stylish!
