GFW catwalk report: Northampton
Siobhan Ramswell took high-impact body-con dresses and emblazoned them with striking graphic prints. Combining pink, yellow and silver the geometric patterns lent themselves well to the streamlined shapes of the outfits giving a surprisingly grown-up feel ton the collection.
Charlotte Woodley opted for a more classic theme for her collection drawing inspiration from Edwardian styles with puffball skirts and leg-o-mutton sleeves. Tweeds were livened up with a flash of pink and cute knee-high socks were held up with ribbons.
I almost expected to see a 2CV come careering down the catwalk at Craig Fellows' show, as the French fermiere motif was omnipresent. The neo-New Look shape dresses and headscarves featured egg and chicken prints in a whimsical, lighthearted collection.
