Dolce & Gabbana, the end of the affair

Dolce & Gabbana, their brand was seemingly as solid as their relationship, but after almost a decade together, the pair officially split in 2005 with their company recording an annual turnover of EUR€ 750 million. But what happened to cause their breakup? Perhaps they just needed time apart since Dominico and Stefano resumed their romance again in 2008 and the brand couldn't be any stronger.
