Just like Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen is expanding his empire to India. His label will open six new stores in the next five years, beginning with a freestanding store in New Delhi in autumn.
The Brit designer has struck a deal with TSG, the same company in charge of McCartney's distribution. In addition to his Indian expansion, McQueen will also open a store in Dubai.
"It is exciting to be entering this market where we have not previously been represented," said Jonathan Akeroyd, chief executive of Alexander McQueen.
