Stella McCartney goes back to Liverpool for special presentation

It is the place where her legendary father was born, and now Stella McCartney will head back to Liverpool along with her autumn/winter '08 collection (pictured left).

The designer will host a special presentation of her collection at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) on 1st June. Locals are in for a real treat as the designer showcases her collection in the institute's Paul McCartney auditorium, with the Beatle himself expected among the audience.

The presentation forms part of Liverpool's bid to promote itself as the European capital of culture in 2008. Paul McCartney will also perform as part of the program, along with a string of British artists that are yet-to-be announced.

Tickets will soon go on sale via Cricket boutique, the fashion hub for Liverpool's WAGs. All proceeds will go towards LIPA.
