Star style: Madonna, Alison Goldfrapp and Robyn at Radio 1's Big Weekend
Although I didn't hold out much hope of getting a ticket in Radio 1's Big Weekend lottery, I was still pretty disappointed to see the "apologies, you're not one of the lucky ones" email in my inbox last week. And after seeing the pics of the weekend festivities, I have to say it's kind of like rubbing salt in the wound!
Madonna looked like she really gave a performance and a half (would we expect anything less from the Queen of Pop?), but it was her err, ample assets, which gave the performance of their lives in this tight-fitting corset top; there was a bit of clowning around for Alison Goldfrapp, who wowed the crowds with her unique brand of electronica and her Bobo-getup; and while Usher may have been geographically confused, Robyn was on a totally different planet!
