I don't know if you've been keeping as close an eye on the Nina Garcia-Elle debacle as I have (although, surely I can't be the only one that's found this whole magazine politics thing fascinating?)

If you're as interested (read: nosy) as I am, you'll be pleased to know the latest developments indicate the situation is about to be all wrapped up....

Apparently, Garcia is headed for Marie Claire!

Our US sister site Shiny Style reported earlier Marie Claire was rumoured to be in the running to replace Elle magazine as the Project Runway partner magazine, and now it seems more pieces of the puzzle are coming together.

The job move and magazine partnership would clear the way for Garcia's continued presence on Project Runway, a point which has been hotly debated.

Garcia will supposedly be taking a position in Marie Claire's fashion department. News that Marie Claire's fashion director, Tracy Taylor, is leaving the magazine surfaced at the same time - leaving us free to speculate the Garcia could be up for that job.

The upcoming fifth season of Project Runway will be the show's last on the Bravo Network, and the last year of the show's contract with Elle, before moving to Lifetime, which has corporate ties to Marie Claire.
