Newsflash: Jonathan Saunders on Target for world domination

What a week it has been for Jonathan Saunders!

Not only has he just been made the new creative director at Pollini, but it has also been announced that the British designer is also planning a new range for US retailer Target.

What next... World domination?!

Saunders is the latest designer to join the ranks of Target's GO International program, which brings reasonably priced designer wear to America's high street buyers. Think Topshop Boutique for the US.

Others GO designers include Erin Fetherston, Proenza Schouler, Jovovich-Hawk and more recently Richard Chai and Rogan Gregory.

Saunders moved from London to the catwalks of New York last season, and it appears that the transition was a good choice. My only question is - will his new range be as good as his collection for Topshop?
