No surprises here with the news that Naomi Campbell has been formally charged with six offences relating to her meltdown at Heathrow Airport last month.
The supermodel is facing possible jail-time, with three charges of assaulting a police officer, one charge of disorderly conduct, and two charges of using threatening behaviour towards British Airways cabin crew.
"Miss Campbell is bitterly disappointed that the prosecutors have advised her she is to be prosecuted for various offenses," said her lawyer, Simon Nicholls. "She respects the decision and hopes this matter will be dealt with expeditiously."
Campbell is looking at up to six months prison and/or a fine of £5,000. Each of her other fines could cost her £1,000 each. She is expected at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 20th June.
