Finally, someone who has (kind of) picked up on the Met Costume Gala's superheroes theme with Kate Bosworth wearing a vintage multi-coloured sequinned dress by Chanel Haute Couture. Accompanied by Karl Lagerfeld himself, I am glad to see Kate incorporating a bit of comic-style into her choice of Met gown.
Our very own Thandie Newton flew the flag for the Brits in this lacy black dress and cape from Chanel's autumn/winter 08 collection. I am not overly impressed by her choice, it borders on lingerie, but perhaps if she lost the cape it might not be so nightie-like.
