Hot or Not: Madonna on the red carpet at Cannes

We've already shown you the video, but since Madonna's sparkly Chanel flapper dress at Cannes is all anyone can talk about today, we had to bring you a closer look (although not too close - this dress is majorly see-through!) Some say she out-sparkled Sharon Stone, while others aren't particularly enthralled by her look. But either way, there's no denying she's definitely the Queen of Cannes. French TV didn't broadcast her red carpet arrival live for nothing!

It's different, provocative and sexy, which are all words that describe Madge herself. If this were on someone else, I'm not sure I'd like it as much, but she rocks it.

It would be more fun to see her performing in dresses like this, even if they were cut to accommodate boots and dancing. It didn't look like she invested any effort in the look of her recent performances and stage set. The ugly fingerless gloves and the work-out gear of those shows are monotonous. They deaden the potential of making her stage presentation fresh, and classic and interesting.
