Now has never been a better time to be a fashion design student. With so many initiatives and opportunities up for grabs these days, it's a fast-track way for many to get their designs out there and available. ASOS.com have announced the judging panel for their LTD 100 design project, in collaboration with the London College of Fashion (LCF).
This year's panel includes Henry Holland, model Ben Grimes, B boutique owner Matthew Murphy and Vogue's Emma Elwick, as well as reps from ASOS.com who will select 100 pieces designed by LCF students.
The pieces will be unveiled on the 4th June at a fashion industry event, and will go on sale at ASOS.com from 1pm, on the 16th June.
Three main winners (one each for womenswear, menswear and accessories) will also be selected from the 100, and will be awarded with a placement within ASOS.com's design team. The overall winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to an inspirational fashion capital with the design team from ASOS.com.
"The LTD 100 project is the ideal platform for design students to get a foothold in the industry before even leaving college," said Holland.
Great prize, huh? We look forward to seeing who makes the final cut.
