The British fashion initiative announced yesterday that it has signed a three-year deal to stage a semi-permanent venue in the heart of London, which it will use to host the selection process, judging, mentoring program and final catwalk show.

This year's Fashion Fringe is headed up by honorary chairperson, Donatella Versace. She joins founder Colin McDowell on the international advisory committee.

"Fashion Fringe is about modern London and all its diversities, but it takes place in one of the most historic cities in the world," said McDowell. "I am very happy that we are able to show in such an iconic space as Covent Garden, which is known throughout the world for its superb Georgian architecture and ongoing programme of entertainment and events."

The finalists for this year's Fashion Fringe were recently announced as Go By a Secret Path, LF Markey, Sarah Easom, and William Tempest.
