marcjacobssophiacoppolametgala.jpgHe may have rocked up two hours late on Monday night (maybe his watch is permanently two hours slow or something), but that won't stop Anna Wintour from honouring Marc Jacobs at next year's Met Costume Institute Gala.

Jacobs will follow in the footsteps of Giorgio Armani, who was an honoured at this year's gala, which was held earlier this week.

While his work life appears to be rolling along, it seems that his personal life may not be...

According to Page Six, fears that the designer has fallen back into his old drug habits, is worrying his friends.

"He spends most of his time partying until morning in Paris," a friend said. "It's out of control. There's always a different boy and everyone is worried he's going to pull a Halston".

Legendary designer Halston suffered a major career blow when he began drinking and taking drugs. He died in 1990 of AIDS.

Let's hope Marc can get his act together in time to be rewarded at next year's gala.
