US designer Tommy Hilfiger flew into the capital this week to introduce us to his new baby - Tommy TV, a new music-based online television channel. At the official launch yesterday, Parisian musical duo One Two performed for gathered press in Piccadilly. The channel will broadcast the Hilfiger Sessions, a series of concerts organised in association with Sony BMG.

Tommy TV marks the next step in revolutionising music online, allowing audiences to watch concerts, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage all from the comfort of their PC or laptop.

"It's all about the consumer, and they spend most of their time on the Internet," Hilfiger said, adding that viewers "will be able to select their own footage and make their own playlists."
