The Story of the Supremes exhibition at the V&A
The sound of '60s girl groups like the Shangri Las, the Shirelles and the Chiffons defined an era and now the Supremes --arguably the most famous girl group-- have an exhibition at the V&A.
The Story of the Supremes will include photographs and dresses from their heyday starting from their beginnings as The Primettes. The exhibition is open from May 13th and I personally can't wait to go and see the fashions and the original TV footage of their performances. More images after the jump.
I think that Diana Ross is kinda pulling a Susie Bubble pose in the above picture, and I love the blue paillette dresses. The picture below is awesome, just check out at Diana Ross' regal pose as Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard look on all windswept and blustery.
