Nicole Kidman has Ferragamo at her fingertips (and toes!)

When I first read about Baz Luhrmann's (Romeo & Juliet, Moulin Rouge) next film Australia, I did have a scary suspicion that it would end up being a musical set in the outback, starring Nicole Kidman singing to sheep. But for once I am relieved to find that it features no singing what-so-ever, just Kidman rustling up cattle on horseback alongside the too-handsome-for-his-own-good Hugh Jackman.

Having said that it, no epic film with an A-list cast could be complete without its luxury demands. And so I was amused to hear that Kidman has commissioned Ferragamo to design all the shoes for her role in the movie.

While I would never turn down a free pair of Ferragamos, knocking around in the outback I would imagine RM Williams would be more the style.
