What could be better than wall-to-wall Mulberry bags? Wall-to-wall Mulberry bags and art and cake!

For the next 12 months, Mulberry will set aside gallery space in their London Bond Street flagship, which they've dubbed the 'Mulberry Space', in order to host a series of creative collaborative events.

March showcased Gethin Moller's unique paper sculptures and we also have Martin Richman's light installations to look forward to. October will see an in-house exhibition curated by East London's Fred Gallery to coincide with the Frieze Art Fair.

They'll be getting into the spirit of spring with a floral installation by London florist McQueen's and a children's art project by the London-based charity The Kid's Company.

And then to cap it all off, there will be a British summer fete complete with trestle tables, and a whole lot of tasty treats and other goodies for sale made by cake makers, artists and craftspeople. Yum! [via The Bag Lady]
