llewisveganlineupdate.jpgIt seems as though Leona Lewis is pretty serious about following in the footsteps of Natalie Portman by launching her own vegan fashion line.

The vegetarian singing sensation, who is currently in Australia to promote her new album, is reportedly "determined" to start her own ethical range of fashion goods. And if so-called 'talks' continue, we could soon be seeing a brand new label from the star who is keen to give fellow vegans more choice when it comes to their wardrobes.

"She's always adored animals since she was a little girl and has been a vegetarian since the age of 12," a source told British Hello magazine.

Earlier this year, Natalie Portman successfully launched her own range of vegan footwear for New York boutique, Te Casan. Since then the actress has been photographed all of the place in her eco-friendly designs.

The source added: "The reason [Lewis] doesn't wear diamonds is because she doesn't know how they have been sourced. It was for this reason that she is determined to set up her own ethical fashion range and sell the goods at high street prices."

High street prices? Me likey!
