Labels as glamourous and diverse as Burberry, John Rocha and Claire Tough all employ a granny army of knitters for their handknits. Now you can make like the designers and hire out someone to make your knits.

Net Granny is a Swiss-based site specialising in handknit socks and wristwarmers in a variety of colurs. There's even a gallery introducing you to each granny and allowing you to pick who you want making your socks. Each pair costs 27.50 Euro and takes about 10 to 20 days depending on which granny you pick.
