From supermodel to songstress: Agyness Deyn to release debut single

She will not be compared with Kate Moss, and yet it seems that the more famous Agyness Deyn becomes, the more her life is beginning to mirror that of her fellow supermodel. NME has announced that Deyn will release her first single, titled 'Who', with New York band Five O'Clock Heroes.

The collaboration came about when Deyn heard a demo by the group during an evening out with lead singer Antony Ellis. The peroxide blonde model provides the vocals for the track and will appear in the song's promo video, no doubt looking her uber-cool self.

The 25-year-old's boyfriend, Josh Hubbard of The Paddingtons, is reportedly setting up his own record label. I wonder if Agy be the first talent that he signs?

• The single 'Who' is due to be released 23rd June on seven-inch vinyl and download formats.
