Erin O'Connor's radio debut for BBC Radio 4
Ever since Popworld (with Simon Amstell, not Alex Zane!) ended my weekend mornings have been spent in bed, but Erin O'Connor gives us all a reason to rise early this Saturday. In a meeting of two of my favourite British institutions the model is hosting her very own radio show on Radio 4 to "give a well-rounded viewpoint on what I perceive the industry to be."
O'Connor is very involved in the fashion industry, she is the Vice Chair of the British Fashion Council, writes a daily column for London Fashion Week paper the Daily Rubbish and is the face of M&S.
The show will feature an interview with UK Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman and will also cover her work with the Model Health Enquiry and the Model Sanctuary, a hideaway Erin created for models to rest, relax and get nutritional advice and free massages.
Erin's Model World airs at 10.30 am on Radio 4 but if you aren't an early bird or you're abroad you can use the Listen Again service online.
