Ding dong! Avon calls Patrick Dempsey to front new fragrance campaign

Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey appears to be on a winning ticket at the moment. While his Versace ads begin to circulate (pictured left), he has already signed his next campaign, this time with Avon.

Dempsey, who plays the dishy Dr Shepherd (a.k.a. Dr McDreamy), has agreed to front Avon's newest fragrance for men.

Details, such as how much moolah he will receive from the multi-year contract, are being kept secret, but sources are estimating between $5 million to $6 million per year. Not bad!

Another interesting fact is that Dempsey's wife, make up artist Jillian Dempsey, also happens to be Avon's global creative colour director. And they say that sleeping with the boss gets you nowhere...
