Battle of the tween clothing lines: Heidiwood vs Ashlee Simpson for Wet Seal

We freaked when we heard Heidi Montag was venturing into fashion designer territory with her Heidiwood junior apparel line for Anchor Blue. And to be honest, we had to fight back a yawn when we heard Ashlee Simpson was also jumping on the bandwagon with her diffusion line for Wet Seal. So now that the pics are out (in Heidi's case, the line is actually in store), we'd like to know: who brings animal print to the tween masses better - Heidi or Ashlee? I thought the category here was tween fashion, not streetwalker-chic. Ashlee definitely wins.

I don't know which way to vote in this as I'm so tired of celebrity clothing lines, perfumes and colognes, shoes, etc. However, if I had to judge based on just the 2 pictures provided (and at the risk of sounding too prim and conservative, adjectives I'd never have used on myself), I'd have to say Ashley's, yawn and all. If it were just short shorts, I'd be able to deal but quite frankly, if my tween sister was wearing short shorts AND showing considerable midrift (sp?) AND had her lady lumps out so obviously waving hello to the world, I'd throw a massive fit. Far too skanky for a tween! Like Hannah said, street-walker chic indeed.
