Bright colours have been on the scene for a while as part of the techno trend that's been popular for the last few season but now there's a cacophony of colours to mix and match. Last summer's hot colour cobalt blue was still a bit hit on the catwalk but the colour that will be captivating everyone this season is coral. It looks amazing on summer skin and from the palest peach to almost red there's a tone to suit everyone.

Preen had a fresh, sporty take on the look pairing it with khaki while Jil Sander and Julien Macdonald teamed it with blue and teal for all over colour.
Paul Smith showed that neutrals look great with a bright statement piece and Lanvin's parachute silk dress is simplicity and elegance personified. Lastly, Roksanda Illincic's acid-yellow dress proves that if the cut is bold enough you can get away with a daring colour.

Navy, grey and khaki look great with brights and make a more stylish option that boring black which can sometimes make bright colours look cheap. If you're feeling brave wear two or three bright colours at once, orange and pink look hot as does lemon yellow and cobalt blue. Keep accessories simple and bold, and a hint of fake tan will stop you from fading into the background.
